I ask once more for your prayers as my surgery is tomorrow (Friday) morning at 7:30.  I was anointed at mass this morning and was prayed for by the assembly so I am enjoying the peace of the Lord as the time approaches.  Thanks for understanding that the normal Mantle update won’t be published regularly for a few weeks.  Please do send your prayer requests, be sure to put the words “prayer request” in the subject so they go to the right file and we can find them for next time one of us has a chance to gather them and email them to you.  Please print these requests and take them to your next local prayer group meeting.

With feast of the Annunciation on Saturday let us ponder the opportunities God gives us to say “yes” to Him—and ask ourselves how we will respond.
