MaryAnn Gardner is a writer, inspirational speaker, and former teacher. She has spent the past 14 years as a corporate communications professional. She is a graduate of Mount Mercy College, a certified catechist, a consecrated Marian Catechist, and a member of the Catholic Writers Online, the National Association of Catholic Family Life Ministers, the National Catholic Education Association, and the National Marian Catechist Apostolate.

Her community involvement, which includes 17 years as a CCD teacher and teacher-trainer and 20 years as a Scout Leader, continues today as an associate volunteer at Sanctuary of Hope, an inner city/inter-faith retreat center in Kansas City, KS.

She is a wife and mother, married since 1970 to Robert. Since 1989 they have been members of Prince of Peace in Olathe, KS, a parish in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.

MaryAnn wrote the Prayers for Prodigals Series which is available from this web site.  Her latest book is titled THROUGH HER EYES And Other Meditations on the Mysteries of the Rosary Articles published in 2003 include A Season of Light, Tips for Catechists Who Use the Internet, and "Bravely put out Into the Deep": The Internet.
